From the ashes

If it is any comfort at all, know that none may soar like a radiant, dazzling phoenix without first being turned into ashes, scorched and incinerated by the fires of hardship. Of course, many a doubter may snidely ask: what ever do you consider a hardship? Let it be known to them that any battle fought, whether in the physical or the mental realm, is a hardship in itself; and that they are to be no judges of the troubles of others, nor might they impose, as would a haughty ignorant, any self standards upon them. If it is any comfort at all, know that such occasional afflictions of the soul and mind are always better than a constant flying of a comfortable feathery flight.
