I left my phone away for a day

All I see are pictures of you smiling and laughing, against a scenic background, or some glitter in the air, a celebration you were having, with some friends, with some strangers (it hardly matters), an arduous dedicatory note to the material and immaterial, a past that you wish to remember, maybe because nothing really exciting is happening today and you can’t endure the boredom; you can’t endure becoming invisible and forgotten. But try, try and live quietly alone; depart from the stage and all the applause that you consume like a drug. Do that, and what a peace you shall find.
